A Homeland woman is facing multiple felony charges after Riverside County investigators seized more than 500 firearms from a residence on Sultanas Road last week in connection with an alleged illegal firearms sales operation.
Maria Force, 45, was taken into custody without incident April 17 after members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 and deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at approximately 10 p.m. in the 26000 block of Sultanas Road.
During the search, deputies recovered more than 500 firearms, including rifles, shotguns and handguns. The investigation into the alleged illegal sale of firearms began earlier in April 2026.
Force was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on charges of illegally selling firearms, selling firearms with altered serial numbers, grand theft of firearms and possession of a concealed firearm.
The investigation is ongoing.
