Gabriel Davis, a motorcyclist critically injured in a late-night collision at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Winchester Road in early March, has died from his injuries, his family announced.

Davis never regained consciousness following the crash and could not be taken off a ventilator, family members said. Doctors performed multiple surgeries across three hospitals in an effort to save his life. Those efforts were unsuccessful.

“Gabriel was deeply loved, and his loss is being felt by so many,” the family said in a written statement.

According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the crash was reported at approximately 11:40 p.m. on March 1. A motorcycle and a white Toyota Tundra collided at the intersection, with preliminary reports indicating a vehicle may have run a red light before the impact. The Tundra came to rest facing eastbound in the westbound lanes. CAL FIRE crews responded to the scene alongside CHP to provide medical aid.

Davis was transported to the hospital in critical condition following the collision. Family members, some of whom traveled from Colorado, are now making arrangements.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No charges or citations have been publicly announced.
